Rebecca Dawson
Meet Rebecca, she currently lives and works in Berri in the Riverland. She works as a special education teacher and started up a local writers group in her community.
Rebecca has lived in the Riverland for three years now and is an avid writer. She has been writing stories since she was 5 years old and at this rate Rebecca believes she isn’t going to stop. Rebecca believes that stories come alive in the telling of them so wants to build up the courage to share them and help other share them and that is one reason why she has started up a local writers group in Berri.
Rebecca was involved in the collaboration of creating the Story City Barmera project, The Agency which was a multiple choice adventure narrative that players could interact with via an app. She has also participate in many Adelaide events each year including Nanowrimo.
